If you think visiting Chihuly Garden and Glass is just a way to kill some time in Seattle, you’ll be well and truly mistaken. In fact, you may come away announcing it was the highlight of your visit. I was pleasantly surprised at how bold and beautiful the exhibits were. It was an explosion of colour at its best.

Visiting Chihuli Garden and Glass

You can pre-purchased tickets. There is a combination of the Space Needle and Chihuli Garden and Glass which are located right beside each other.

The observation tower is an iconic landmark of the Seattle skyline and is 184 metres high.

David Chihuli studied Interior Design at the University of Washing. He later went to work at the Venini glass factory in Venice. The exhibits here in Seattle are a long term exhibition and his brilliance is displayed throughout. I’m not expert on art but I’m sure you don’t have to be to appreciate his work.

Whilst there, you are able to take an audio tour. You can learn about each of the exhibits. Move at your own pace and enjoy the commentary along the way.

The outside area is equally as impressive.Wander through the gardens where glass and plants come together. It’s just so pretty.
